Justin Ecock is Powered by the Apocalypse.
Ever since his grade 10 history teacher invited the improv club to play 2nd Edition Advanced Dungeons & Dragons after school he’s been hooked exploring worlds of our own creation and discovering stories hidden on the table. As the producer of the Terrible Warriors, a weekly actual-play podcast which every month starts a new game with a new table of terrible players, all he wants you to walk away with is feeling empowered to tell your own stories and that anyone regardless of background or experience can run a tabletop game.
He can run you through a plethora of Powered by the Apocalypse games including Apocalypse World (post-apocalyptic), Monsterhearts (supernatural teen melodrama), Masks: A New Generation (teenage superheroes), Urban Shadows (urban supernatural fantasy), The Sprawl (cyberpunk), and World Wide Wrestling the RPG (yes it’s real and yes, it’s even more awesome than you expect). He’s also excited to run Star Trek: Adventures, Tales from the Loop, and the 7th Sea focusing on character-driven stories and making it up as you go while pretending that was the plan all along!
